A tube sheet is the plate that holds heat-exchanger tubes; the tubes and bundles themselves can become fouled by deposits, corrosion products or process residues. A survey establishes accessibility, material, geometry and the required scope.
Selecting the technology
Internal water jetting with a suitable guide device can be used for tubes, or another method may be selected for the deposit. Settings must protect the tube wall and tube sheet. Equipment is isolated and depressurised before work, then flow path and component condition are checked afterwards.
